Studio Harcourt, a Parisian legend since 1934

Founded in Paris in 1934 by Cosette Harcourt, together with the Lacroix brothers and Robert Ricci, Studio Harcourt quickly became the place to be photographed for Parisian high society. Writers, painters, actors and stars, from Marlene Dietrich to Jean Cocteau, posed in its famous black-and-white light. The studio still photographs public figures today.

The brow line, the signature of the Harcourt look

For a successful portrait, the eyes are essential. The Harcourt make-up line therefore specialises in eyebrows, with everything needed to shape, fill and set them:

  • Fill and define: Brow Powder (4 shades), the Beauté du Regard Brow Palettes (Light / Blonde and Dark / Brunette), the Brow Revealing Pencils (Light, Medium, Dark) and the Brow Touch-Up Liners.
  • Shape: the Duo Brow Stencils for an even shape, and the Light Diffuser to highlight the arch.
  • Set and care: the Brow & Lash Fixing Serum, for groomed brows and fuller-looking lashes.
  • Precision tools: tweezers, brow comb, duo brush and pencil sharpener.

Complexion and eyes: brushes and false lashes

The range is completed by professional brushes (foundation, maxi powder, angled blush, concealer), the multi-use Coverage Portfolio and the Marlène and BB false lashes, supplied with their glue.

How to choose your brow shade?

The make-up artists’ rule: choose a shade close to the natural colour of your brows, or slightly lighter if your hair is dark. Light / Blonde for blonde or grey hair, Medium for light to mid-brown hair, Dark / Brunette for dark hair.

Frequently asked questions

Who founded Studio Harcourt?

Studio Harcourt was founded in Paris in 1934 by Cosette Harcourt, together with the Lacroix brothers and Robert Ricci.

Powder, palette or pencil: which is best for brows?

Powder gives a soft, natural result, ideal for adding fullness. A pencil lets you draw hair-like strokes and fill sparse areas. A palette combines several shades to adjust intensity and play with light and shadow.

What does the Brow & Lash Fixing Serum do?

It grooms the brows and keeps them in place all day, and cares for the lashes for a fuller-looking gaze.

Where can I buy Studio Harcourt make-up?

At The Beauty Lounge, which offers the Studio Harcourt brow line, brushes and false lashes, shipped from France.
